Regarded as the most romantic city in the world, Paris is definitely a wonderful place for couples to visit, although you don’t have to be travelling there with that ’someone special’ to appreciate it. It is full of famous landmarks and museums, great places to eat and a host of buzzing bars and nightclubs. So even if you are going with some friends or on your own, you won’t find it hard to fill your days.
Guests tell us that whether this is their first of fiftieth Paris vacation, they love to take the Bateaux Mouches boat ride down the river Seine. It’s a great idea as a first tour of Paris, because you can scope out the sites with ease, and understand how Paris maps out. You’ll float past the Eiffel Tower, the Senate Buildings, the ‘Money Museum’, Musee’ d’Orsay, the Louvre, the Academie Francaise, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Ile St. Louis, and even past a small version of the Statue of Liberty. The largest and most venerable company is Bateaux Mouches which you catch at the Pont de l’Alma near the Eiffel Tower. If you have time, you’ll see flowers placed above the tunnel with Princess Diana met her tragic end. And on the opposite side, is the charming tour of the Paris Sewers – off beat and fascinating for children of all ages.
While both France and Monaco have relatively low rates of violent crime, a limited number of neighborhoods in the larger French cities merit extra caution. Additionally, although the overall crime rate has fallen slightly in recent years, the volume of crimes involving violence has increased in France. Thieves commonly target vehicles with non-local license plates and work in or near tourist attractions such as museums, monuments, restaurants, hotels, beaches, trains, train stations, airports, and subways. Americans in France and Monaco should be particularly alert to pickpockets in train stations and subways. Photocopies of travel documents and credit cards should be kept separate from the originals and key telephone numbers maintained to contact banks if credit cards are stolen or lost.
Paris vacation rentals
Take the elevator or climb to the second floor and above where you’ll delight in a panoramic site of all of Paris. Save the best for sunset because you haven’t visited Paris until you’ve been to the Eiffel Tower after sunset: Take an evening stroll along the river to the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the special light show that starts at sunset when over twenty thousand ights sparkle up and down La Grande Dame for ten minutes every hour. The sight is truly spectacular and people applaud when it begins! The light show was dreamed up for the Millennium and was made permanent by popular demand. Surrounding the Eiffel are the beautiful Champs de Mars Gardens. If you’re traveling with children, this is a super break for your children, who can play alongside French families at one of four small playgrounds. Find ancient swings, hand-cranked merry-go-rounds and even an old ‘Guignol’ puppet theatre. Time stands as you watch grandparents bringing their grandchildren to play while they sit on wooden benches and remember when their own parents brought them. It’s a lasting memory for you and your family.

No other US metropolis even comes close to New York in terms of population, diversity of culture, entertainment, business and commerce. Yet within a day’s drive, visitors can find fine beaches and seascapes; quiet, forested mountains; quaint, small towns; and plenty of historical sightseeing.
Long Island, a short train ride east of Manhattan, is the largest island adjoining the continental USA. A popular destination for native city dwellers, it also features the celebrated seaside resort of The Hamptons.
To many New York City is New York State, but there is much more to this historic and scenically diverse state than the Big Apple. Within an hour’s drive visitors can find the beaches of Long Island or escape to the Catskill Mountains to fish, hike or ski. A little further north, on the Hudson River, is the state capital Albany, which is a good base from which to explore ‘upstate’ New York. In the centre of the state the solitude of the Adirondacks region can be found – home to some of the highest and most dramatic mountains in the eastern United States, attracting the energetic with a range of activities including hiking, skiing, horse riding and mountain biking.

To the north of New York City are the two major resort areas of the Catskills and the Adirondack Mountains, popular for outdoor sports, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and skiing. Adirondack Park is the largest state park in the USA at 2.4 million hectares (6 million acres).
The Empire State Building rises majestically from the heart of Manhattan. The building’s 86th floor observatory, 1,050 feet above the street, has dazzled visitors since 1931.
New York State’s capital, Albany, lies in the Capital-Saratoga region, north of the Hudson Valley. Saratoga Springs has been a leading spa and horse racing centre since the late-19th century.

The Gold Coast is big. Big theme parks, big beaches and a ton of shopping. With 300 days of sunshine per annum, Gold Coast travel has a lot to offer.
Gold Coast attractions number more than any other destination in the Southern hemisphere.
The Gold Coast is a stretch of beaches running north from the Queensland border with New South Wales for about 20 miles. A holiday spot since the late 19th Century it is the most commercialised area in Australia.
Concluding with the high-rise concrete jungle of Surfers Paradise, somewhat reminiscent of Benidorm, the Gold Coast does have its nicer areas and boasts some of the best, even if a little crowded, white beaches in Australia.
Heady, wild and pure fun, the Gold Coast is Australia’s very own whiff of Las Vegas. This commercial overload doesn’t appeal to everyone, but the Gold Coast receives more than two million visitors every year.

Most are drawn by the surf, sun and fun, but there is also a spectacular hinterland less than 19 miles (30km) from the beach. The Gold Coast also has some excellent surfing breaks, particularly at Burleigh Heads, Kirra and Duranbah.

Perth, the capital of Western Australia is vivacious city located right in front of Swan River.
